Self-Remembrance
Self-Remembrance is the master key to the doorway of healing and wholeness. A doorway that we must pass through again and again, until we have returned to our fullness.
For many, the term self-remembrance, creates a thought of the past and what has been. In truth, self-remembrance is a step into the present; to experience fully in every sense.
It is in the present moment, that we find ourselves, most awake, aware and alive. This is the gift we give to ourselves, when we remember, we are here to thrive.
For most of us, our habits of mind, focus on the future or a life lived in the past. We are everywhere, except where it matters, the here and the now; this is threshold we must pass.
Self-remembrance is the experience of coming home to ourselves, in the present, so we may understand, all that each moment has to offer our Being; our purpose, our destiny, first hand.
This experience requires a shift of consciousness, so we may perceive life from the inside out. A conscious choice to remember ourselves, especially when we worry, when we fear and when we doubt.
To remember asks us to choose to let go, of the pull from the external world; from the should, the supposed to, the have to and have not; the ways in life in which we have forgot. Forgot who we are, forgot what we know; lost in the realm of reap what you sow.
As we choose to reunite ourselves, our presence, our experience, and our feeling, we engage in self-remembrance; the inner process of wholeness and healing. Come home to yourself, this is the clarion call; the call from the heart and the soul. To remember all of who you are; this is life’s ultimate goal.
It is when One begins to remember one’s self, that One truly begins to awaken. The journey becomes one of joy and enlightenment, no matter the path taken.
